During this year Ferndown Middle School has been taking part in the ‘I’m an Astronaut, get me out of here’ competition run by Gallomanor. I am delighted to inform you that our students have won a place in the fourth and final round of the competition. They will be able to put their questions to the people behind Tim’s mission. This could include members of mission control, researchers with experiments running on the ISS, trainers, and scientists and engineers involved in the design of the ISS and its equipment. On Wednesday 22nd June some Year 8 pupils will be asking creative questions in the hope that we will be one of the 4 winning schools, nominated by the Astro Support Team, which will go on to take part in the final live chat with Tim Peake, when he returns from the International Space Station.
