It certainly has been a busy end of term with so many successes to celebrate. I would like to thank everyone that has contributed to the success of our PE Department this year. This goes to the parents, carers, coaches, teachers and most importantly all the pupils that have participated this academic year. I would like to wish all the luck in the world to all the pupils that are leaving us and look forward to hearing about their continued sporting success.
Under 11 Dorset County Cricket Hardball Plate Champions
In a tense match against Baden Powell I am delighted to announce that our boys from Year 5 and 6 won the Dorset Plate Competition. All the boys contributed to the success and we started superbly well with Henry getting a wicket with the first ball of the match. We managed to get 6 more wickets that left Baden Powell on 33/6. We had a tough start to our batting and we needed 31 runs to win off of the last three overs. We managed to do this with a few balls to spare and reached 34/4. This was such a pleasing victory and to say I am ever so proud of the lads is an understatement. Congratulations to Joseph, Henry, Joe, Harvey, Alex, Dayne, Aidan, Alex, Will and Liam. Keep up the good work and looking forward to next season already!
