It was our absolute privilege to welcome four inspirational fire fighters from Ferndown Fire Station to FMS on Friday, to join us as our first ever guest runners for The Daily Mile. Our visitors encouraged and supported our wonderful students all the way round our half mile course, enjoying the opportunity to be active and out in the fresh air.
There was even a chance for our students to ask our visitors questions. They shared stories about their recent experience of helping to put out the heath fire, and discussed their grueling training regime . We were honoured to be able to run alongside these local heroes and would like to thank them for taking the time to visit us.
