On the last day of term our Year 6 Boys played in the Dorset Final of the football competition against Lockyers. In a tense first half the score was 0-0 and Harry made some brilliant saves to keep us level at half time. Just after the second half Lockyers scored and we had to push ourselves to the limit to fight back. With ten minutes to go George hit a pin point accurate free kick to Connor, who scored a magnificent diving header to equalise. We tried extremely hard to score the winner, where we hit the post twice but could not get the breakthrough. I must say Conner really kept the team going and produced a true captains performance in working so hard. Unfortunately the match went to penalties and we lost this 5-4. To say that I am so proud of the boys is an understatement, they really proved what fine sportsmen they are with this determined performance and they should be pleased with their silver medal. I am already looking forward to next season and I am sure the boys are too!
