We have regularly highlighted the work of the John Thornton trust both supporting the school and our local community by providing bursaries and scholarships to young people. Recently they provided a new minibus which as a school we have free access to. We are proud to partner with them.
The trust are delighted to announce that they have been shortlisted for Sainsbury’s Ferndown Local Charity of the Year.
If successful the partnership will last for a whole year and include a range of support such as awareness-raising and fundraising in-store, volunteering and donations. This could be a really lucrative partnership for the JTYAF as the 2015/16 charity has benefitted by £6000!
