In the morning, we had a one-hour presentation on the basics of university and more about the costs and societies (societies are small clubs/groups set up by the students to meet together and talk about the things that they love). After this we all had some juice and then went off on a campus tour- my favourite bit!
After lunch, we played a game called ‘design a student’ and then completed a budgeting workshop to help us spend money while living and working at the university. Several people won prizes – Max, Summer and Kharis – and everyone was given a wrist-band.
Going to Bournemouth University taught us lots about what university is like and whether we should go there or not.
