The Christmas Fair held on Friday 4th December was again a great success. In 1.5 hours we raised just over £1000. It was lovely to hear the choir perform on the stage to set the mood for the event. Many parents stopped to listen. Christmas really did start with the opportunity to munch on home-made mince pies and rest a while listening to Christmas tunes. Thank you to Sainsburys and Tesco for their donations which were used for the refreshments.
The display from the competition for the best decorated cake was amazing. The variety and standard of decorations was high. There was a crowd for the soft toy and chocolate tombola leaving many smiling happy children. I would like to thank the pupils from Ferndown Upper School who came to help. It was lovely to see the schools supporting each other and strengthening bonds and to have the opportunity to catch up on the achievements of ex pupils. The school is also grateful to all the parents who volunteered their time to help organise and run the fair and for the parents who came and supported the fair, contributing to its success.
