Year 7 Girls Football
Our Year 7 Girls won one, drew 3 and lost two in the 7 aside competition kindly hosted by Bournemouth School for Girls. We worked hard in cold conditions and performed admirably.

Year 7 Netball
Congratulations to our year 7 netball team who finished runners up in their League on Tuesday! Having gone unbeaten all season, they narrowly lost to Cranborne in their final game, leaving them a close second overall. It really has been a successful season for the girls, who were playing league netball for the first time. A special mention must go to Francesca who stepped in at very short notice and played superbly in a new position. A huge well done, also, to Stephanie who represented the school in her first netball match.  A huge congratulations to all the girls who have represented the team during this campaign.

Indoor Cricket
Our Year 5 & 6 Girls had a great afternoon at Lockyers, where we finished runners-up in the indoor competition. Excellent work girls and remember cricket club is on after school Mondays for those that want extra training.

Year 8 Netball
On Tuesday, our year 8 netball team continued their incredible unbeaten league run. They began with a convincing 8-1 victory against St Edwards before going on to beat Allenbourn 8-2. As always, it was a real team performance, with each and every player working tirelessly to ensure we dominated each of the games. A special mention must go to Emily who competed in her first netball match for FMS, well done Emily, a fantastic debut!

South West Cross-Country
We would like to congratulate Ryan from Year 7, where he represented Dorset in The South West Schools Cross-Country Championships and he finished in 5th Place. This is such a fantastic achievement and we are extremely proud of Ryan.

Year 6 Boys Football
Our Year 6 boys produced, in my opinion, their best performance of the season where they defeated Talbot Primary in the Dorset Schools Football Semi-Final. We went into a 2-0 lead through Harry and Kristian and produced some superb flowing football. The boys had to dig deep to hold on as we conceded a late goal but managed to win 2-1. Excellent work lads and let’s look forward to the final.
