It has been another successful art competition with lots of pupils getting involved in the ‘5 Day Drawing Challenge’. It is fantastic to see the quality of art work improving so dramatically due to many pupils practising in their own time; whether this be at home or during the school day. It is also encouraging to see the confidence of pupils increasing with them believing in themselves and having the desire and enthusiasm to get involved in all of the opportunities that are available to them throughout the art and design department.
I would like to congratulate the winners and runners-up who have since received a certificate and prize as recognition for their hard work and effort. The results are as follows:
KS3 winner- Jasmine
KS3 runner-Up- Molly
Year 6 winner- Sophie
Year 6 runner-up- Jasmine
Year 5 winner- Sophie
Year 5 runner-up- Amelia
A huge thank you to all those who took part, if you weren’t successful this time there will be more opportunities coming up next term so keep your eyes peeled!
