After a brisk daily mile nothing was better than a cookie. Pupils lined up to purchase cookies as the sun shone. The cost of the cookies was kindly paid for by voluntary contributions from Tesco and several friends of one of our parents who sadly died recently. In total £365.26 was raised. The money was split between Macmillan Cancer Support and Macmillan Caring Locally (which is in Christchurch).
A big thank you goes to the people who donated the funds to buy the cookies, to the pupils who helped organise the sale, to those that sold the cookies and to everyone who bought a cookie.
