To celebrate this year’s Summer Reading Challenge – The Space Chase, and the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing, Ferndown Middle School’s art students have already blasted off with some amazing art projects that are ‘out of this world’!
From 3D flying saucers, stars, planets and rockets to a giant 3D model of an astronaut, the children have fully embraced this year’s theme. The children will be solving the mystery of the disappearing books from the moon’s very own library and helping the Rocket family discover who the naughty culprits are, as they complete their reading challenge this summer.
