We were absolutely thrilled to participate in this brilliant event where we took 28 pupils from Year 5, 6 and 7. It was a cold and wet Thursday afternoon, some would say perfect cross-country conditions.
All of our pupils worked tirelessly and all managed to complete their respective run which is a massive achievement. It was awesome to see so many schools participating and Ferndown Middle were certainly one of the largest represented schools. We look forward to more cross-country events in the future and if you are interested in more running then please join Running Club on a Wednesday lunchtime.
Finally, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to Mr Peters who has organised the Poole and East Dorset Cross Country events over the last 13 years and this is his last race in control. He has provided mass sporting opportunities to thousands of pupils and hundreds of Ferndown Middle pupils during that time.
