A group of year 5 and 6 students have been working on their Farmvention designs for entry into the STEM competition in September of 2019. Winners will present their ideas at a prestigious event at the Houses of Parliament, as well as winning fully-funded farm visits and much more!
Students have been designing Farm equipment for 2040 and street food, which champions British produce. Charlie in year 5 has been working particularly hard on his Nerf gun inspired seed spraying machine, which propels seeds into the fields.
Emily and Lola in year 6 have developed their idea for a strawberry kebab, which is both healthy and produces little waste through packaging.
We hope all students do well in the competition, they have all shown a real passion for designing.
