PSHCE
Personal, Social, Health and Citizenship Education is in essence about preparing for life, making sure each pupil acquires the knowledge, understanding and the skills they need to manage their lives both now and in the future. As a school we aim to develop the qualities and attributes that our children need to thrive as individuals, as part of a family and as members of society.
Growing up can be a challenge. The aim of this subject is to help the children apply all the knowledge and understanding they have acquired to practical, real-life situations, helping them to feel safe and secure enough to fulfil their potential.
Lessons with opportunities for discussion and questioning and practical hands on activities help each pupil develop a range of life skills, enabling them to grow and mature in an ever changing world.
