On Thursday 28th November 2019, Mr Hammett our PE Trainee, raised awareness for Men’s Health month by inspiring students to create Moustache templates to wear while running the Daily Mile. This was a whole school event which created a buzz amongst the year groups in preparation for the Daily Mile. Most pupils created Moustache’s from their templates and some brought in fancy dress moustaches to wear. All students ran the Daily Mile with enthusiasm and excitement on the day with every pupil wearing their moustache to raise awareness for prostate cancer, suicide prevention and anxiety disorders in Men. It was a fantastic event for the whole school.
