Year 7 and 8 Netball
On Monday evening our netball club had their final training session before the Christmas holidays. The group ended the year with a ‘tinsel’ tournament, whereby they were invited to wear a Christmas themed outfit as well as bring in treats to share. All those in attendance were in high spirits as they competed to the sound of Christmas songs. Mrs Turner and Mrs Burton would like to say a huge well done to all of those students who have regularly attended netball club this year, they look forward to welcoming them back in the new year, ready for the start of the year 7 and 8 netball league.
Year 7 and 8 Cross Country
On Thursday 5th December 2019 20 pupils from Year 7 and 8 took part in the final Cross Country event at Ferndown Upper School. All pupils gave their all in their respective events. One pupil from the boys race finished 30th and one pupil from the girls event finished 21st, which was a big achievement. They were great role models to the school and all supported each other through their races. Well done.
