Last Friday (13th November 2020), Year 5 and 6 joined with more than 10 000 other children across the country in taking part in the Surfers Against Sewage “Pupil Power” assembly. We listened to several guest presenters: Jon Khoo, Dr Joanna Henley, Sophie Hellyer and Gillian Burke, who talked about a range of environmental issues, and how we as a school can continue our fight against plastic pollution. It was a really enjoyable morning, and everyone (children and staff) came away enthused about what else we can do to reduce the plastic waste generated by our school.
