What a way to end the term, Megan from 6AM has only gone and won a Blue Peter badge!
She won this for her animal habitat, that she made as part of an art and design lesson. This just shows you can achieve anything that you put your mind to.
Megan was inspired by her Nana and Pops, who have two honeybee colonies. She started off by designing an intricate idea for her own insect and solitary bee habitat and was then able to make this idea come to life. She worked hard on building the structure and collecting all of the elements; she also drained and scraped escape boards, so that one day she can hopefully have honey of her own. This resulted in Megan receiving her green Blue Peter badge. I’m sure you will all agree that this was well deserved. Ferndown Middle School are so proud of her and she should definitely be proud of herself!
