At the start of the term, Jack in 5RB, was submitting his PE work along with photos and app results from his daily walks. Jack would walk 4 or 5km every morning, rain or shine, with his family.
In a discussion with Mr Kinsey, who lives in Weymouth, Jack took on the challenge to virtually walk the 56.5km (35.1 miles) from Ferndown to Weymouth by the end of January.
Jack showed great determination and character to walk everyday and ended up surpassing the set distance and reaching Portland Bill, an additional 8.2km, by the first week of February. Jack and Mr Kinsey celebrated the wonderful achievement with a virtual ice cream at Portland Bill.
