Next week (10th-16th May) is Mental Health Awareness week and, although earlier this year we had Children’s Mental Health week, in 5KH we decided to make the most of it and introduced 10 minute mindfulness into our afternoons.
The children took part in a variety of activities from mindful meditation to mindful colouring and thoroughly enjoyed (after some giggles) taking the time out to relax, think about their goals and focus on positivity.
